BUSH HERITAGE AUSTRALIA

Bush Heritage Australia is a not-for-profit organisation who prime purpose is to regenerate, conserve, and return lands to a healthier ecological system.

Bush Heritage Australia aims to....

              - buy land to restore, connect and protect native habitats.

              - work in partnership with Traditional Custodians and heal Country.                            - work with farmers and other landholders to restore land.

              - protect endangered ecosystems.

              - protect more than 9,000 native plant and animal species.

              - protect hundreds of threatened species.

To achieve this, Bush Heritage Australia buys and manages vast regions of land for conservation, while partnering with Traditional Custodians and other landholders. Teamed together they all protect and heal Country. Bush Heritage Australia focuses on 'priority landscapes' in nearly every state and territory. These areas are selected based on the biodiversity they protect, as well as the location of our existing reserves and opportunities for partnerships. The team at Bush Heritage Australia upholds a long-term approach based on the best strategies as revealed by the most relevant data and knowledge. Bush Heritage Australia uses science and the solutions to make a difference.
