Cheryl Garson is a passionate advocate for Urban Homesteading practices, Moon Planting method, Mayan Irrigation techniques, Sustainable Living practices, and the use of Nature Connectivity as a therapeutic health practice. Cheryl brings a wealth of experience to garden show seminars and speaking events. She’s the perfect go-to person to learn about the best practices in caring for an organic garden in an urban space – informing people about what to do, and what to avoid.

Cheryl is determined to prove that you don’t need acres of land or experience to grow food, support wildlife, or create a garden that works with nature instead of against it. With groceries prices constantly increasing, the practice of growing, producing, and preserving your own food is an empowering act of taking back control – providing nutritious, affordable food straight from your garden to your plate. Cheryl will happily share anecdotes, tips and insights from her many years of experience as an Urban Homesteader, permaculture gardener, and WWOOFer (Willing Worker On Organic Farms). She has gained extensive knowledge about edible gardening, gardening with pets, native stingless beekeeping, small space gardening, water wise gardening, design challenges and plant problems, because she’s ‘been there, done that’ with all those garden issues. Cheryl's experience, practical suggestions, and straight-forward solutions which has provided much needed help for organic gardeners and homesteaders over the years.
As an engaging speaker, Cheryl empowers people to grow abundant, vibrant food in any space – from pots to acres – while exploring how gardens and nature can nurture grief, enhance health, and build resilience. Whether growing culinary herbs or building a food forest, her infectious enthusiasm and practical advice inspire audiences to dig deep and enjoy the rewards of homegrown nutrition.
